Australian pacer Ellyse Perry has set a new record in the history of women's T20 cricket.
Perry, while representing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) during the ongoing Women's Premier League (WPL), bowled the fastest delivery in women's cricket, clocking 130.5 kmph.
The franchise shared the update on Twitter with fans applauding one of the best all-rounders in women's cricket.
RCB won their first game in WPL on Wednesday. They beat UP Warriors Women by five wickets. Earlier, they lost all five games in the league.
Set to chase 136 runs, Kanika Ahuja's 46 and Richa Ghosh's 31 helped RCB complete the target in 18 overs.
With the ball, Perry took three wickets to help RCB bowl out opponents for 135.
